Ellie Goulding is preparing to release her new album Higher Than Heaven on February 3, 2023. This will be her first album since her release of Brightest Blue in 2020. Brightest Blue is the fourth studio album by English singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding.
It was released on 17 July 2020 through Polydor. On its first (and central) part, “Brightest Blue,” Goulding showcases her impressive vocal range. The album is a return to form for Goulding, who hasn’t released an album since 2015’s Delirium. Fans of her previous work will be impressed with the new record, which is sure to be a hit.
“I think for that reason, nobody wanted to sit and agonise over some relationship or some drama. So that’s how this album came together.”
She continued: “[‘Higher Than Heaven’ is] about being passionately in love. But it’s a hyper form of love, almost like a drug induced feeling. It feels almost artificial and there’s the potential for a crash.”
