Grand Theft Auto 6 News

“An unprecedented data theft has hit the developer of the video game Grand Theft Auto 6,” the latest version of the game repeatedly criticized for making players play the role of criminals. In the Ansa note, we read that it was revealed by Rockstar Games, a company based in New York that was about to launch the new product on the market.
The note continues, “In the early hours of yesterday, a user of a forum called teapotuberhacker posted about 90 videos online, for a total of 50 minutes of videos from GTA 6 in development, videos that quickly became viral on social media.” Shortly thereafter, the hacker left a message on the forum stating that he wanted to “negotiate a deal” with Rockstar to return the stolen data, including the source code for Grand Theft Auto 5 and the development version of Grand Theft Auto 6.
In the evening, GTA publisher Take-Two Interactive acknowledged the leak and sent removal requests to YouTube under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The hacker, for his part, claims on the forum that the footage was obtained by breaking into Rockstar’s Slack channel, “the communication platform used for internal collaboration.”

Details on the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks are emerging.

Grand Theft Auto VI footage leaked online over the weekend was stolen from its network. The user who posted the gameplay claims they also carried out an attack on Uber that occurred last week, but it’s still unclear whether they’re actually connected.
