Maserati’s new all-electric GranTurismo Folgore was seen touring California’s Golden Coast during Monterey Car Week. It is the first time the car has been seen in public without any disguise.

The auto is rumoured to produce around 1200bhp from its triple electric motor powertrain, good for completing the 0-62mph sprint in under 3 seconds. A top speed of 186mph has been confirmed.
The GranTurismo Folgore is slated for release in 2023.

The video was recorded in California during the Monterey event, and shows Folgore walking around with a famous comedian and company executives.

The new Gran Turismo will be the first model in Maserati’s history to adopt 100% electric solutions, it will be produced in Mirafiori and, according to the manufacturer, will offer the typical Maserati sound despite the electric propulsion. The manufacturer will be the first Italian luxury car brand to produce 100% electric models and by 2030 the entire Maserati range will be battery-powered.
