Here is an important motivation of Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Injured Stars. The Pittsburgh Steelers could see some of their injured stars return to practice as early as next week. linebacker Ryan Shazier (back) and guard David DeCastro (hand) are both eligible to come off the physically unable to perform list while running back Le’Veon Bell (groin) and wide receiver Antonio Brown (quad) are both close to returning from their injuries. All four players have been out of action since the start of training camp but they should be able to resume practicing soon.
The Steelers have been hit hard by injuries this season with several key players going down. However there is some good news on the injury front as some of those players could return to practice as early as next week.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who has been out since Week 2 with an elbow injury is expected to return to practice next week. Additionally running back James Conner who has missed the last two games with a knee injury is also expected to return to practice next week.
An Important Statement from Mike Tomlin
If all goes well both Roethlisberger and Conner could be back in the lineup for the Steelers’ Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
