Reviews of Resident Evil 4 Remake official video:

“That was a really good way to announce a showcase. can’t wait.”

“In the past, I could discuss which is the best survival-horror series, but now I’m really happy to see that both Resident Evil and Silent Hill are delivering new games.”

“2022 has been a great year for horror fans so far. Resident Evil inspired all other classic horror games to return. It’s literally a blessing for the industry.”

“Okay, having the Duke voice over a trailer for a showcase is next level, going above and beyond. I’m so hyped for everything in this showcase. Especially the Resident Evil 4 remake. It was one of my all-time favorites and I can’t get enough of how good this looks. A demo would be phenomenal, but I’m hoping to hear something about the VR version, even if it’s just “Hey, this isn’t going to make launch,” but it’ll be the full game or Ada’s segment, or whatever they mean by content. I’m really hoping that it wasn’t canceled or anything. I’m really curious about the and more, as we’re already getting a lot with RE 8 and 4 stuff. Is it a RE:Verse, a RE 9, or a game tease with no number? It feels too soon for 9, but we’ll see.”
